~Braxton's Hope Boxes~

Today marks 3 years since we said hello and goodbye to our first born son, Braxton Lee.  We try to do something special each year to celebrate his life, and this year we made Hope boxes to donate to the hospital where Braxton was delivered.   God has been pushing me to do something to "give back" in Braxton's honor, and I can't think of a better way than to help other grieving families.  I know these boxes won't take the hurt away or make it any easier, but I pray that they provide some comfort to the families by knowing that they aren't alone.  I was touched by the outpouring of help we received to get the boxes ready;  we had several women make blankets and hats for the boxes,  a dear friend and fellow baby loss mom helped make an advice brochure for the families, a very artistic friend helped make handprint and footprint cards, and my mom helped me find the perfect boxes and journals.  We will be delivering these to the hospital tomorrow around 1....please say a prayer for us and the families that will eventually receive these boxes.

Each box contains:
~Two matching handmade blankets (1 to go with baby, and 1 for the family)
~Hat
~Bunny
~Handprint and Footprint Cards
~"Heaven Born" Pillow
~ Journal
~Picture Album
~Grieving Advice
~Willow Tree Remembrance Box

Destiny,
words can't really describe the beautiful, loved filled tribute you are giving for Braxton.
Those boxes are also amazing and I am sure they will bless beyond what you will know those who receive them.
Pray the Lord continues to hold and strengthen you.

Hi!!! I dont even know where to begin. U dont know me. I saw on someone elses facebook page to look at this website and ill be honest, im nosey. So i came to this site, unknowing of what is was about. U r an amazing woman to share ur story. I started reading this and immediately broke down and cried. Ur story touched me. I now at 10pm want to wake my 4 month old daughter up and just hold her closely. U r an inspiration to others. And r clearly a strong person. I was happy to hear that u were able to conceive again and now again with twins. But ur story reminded me to cherish every single moment with my daughter. Thanks for sharing ur story with the world.

Hello,

I saw your post on Angira's FB page today. I love your bunnies...do you have a pattern for those? Also if you wouldn't mind sharing the resources you included I am in the process of getting things prepared for our first donation through our new non profit, named in memory of our daughter, called Mikayla's grace.
