~this year's fair was different~

This year's county fair was different.  The past two years, were not what I had ever dreamed of.  Two years ago, the wound was fresh, and seeing newborns in strollers brought me to tears.  I was supposed to be the one with a new baby.  I was supposed to have the little boy in bibs that everyone couldn't get enough of.  Last year, I was pregnant, but I still didn't have that baby in my arms.  This year was different!  I insisted that we go each night....just so I could push around a stroller with MY BABY!  I think I just made laps around the coliseum just so others could see us.  Cayden enjoyed it too.  He really liked the sheep, but the cows were scary.  The pigs were funny.  I dressed him in nothing but bibs, and he was the cutest little guy around.   Wednesday night was a really late night, because we stayed to present Braxton's Award.  I insisted that they said "The award will be presented by his parents and his BABY BROTHER!"  It saddened me that this is really the only thing that we can "do" for Braxton, but it made me happy that I had a baby with me to present it.  Giving the award this year was different!  Thank you Lord for sharing Cayden with us!  He is a true blessing from above.

Meet my new friend Jett.

"I wasn't quite sure about the cows, but the sheep were ok."

"I really wanted to play with Samuel, but he wasn't to sure about me!  I can be kinda wild!"

One happy family!
